Pioneer Day Primary Activity

The Primary from our ward put on a great activity today.  They children were pioneers and went along the Mormon trail (around the chapel) and learned about the struggles and games of the pioneers.  Even though it was super hot the kids had a blast!

Stripling Warriors Taffy - Primary

I love to give my class something that will remind them of my lesson through out their day/week/life.  Today we had a lesson on the stripling warriors and how they had to work together to defeat their enemy.  I gave each class member a baggie of salt water taffy.  The bags had a label which explained how taffy and the stripling warriors are alike.  Sadly I tasted the taffy after church and I was really gross.  :(

The Armor God: Primary Lesson

Today my class was on the Armor of God.  I gave each class member a paper plate, some tape, and aluminum foil.  Each class member had create on piece of the armor.  This is the completed armor, below (go ahead and laugh, I did).  They had a blast and hopefully will always remember this lesson.  Each class member left class with a chocolate bar wrapped in the description of the Armor of God.
