Teacher Appreciation
Brian's last day of Kindergarden was yesterday. I wanted to thank his teachers and bus driver for doing such an amazing job. So Keith and I went to BJs and bought a bunch of gum balls. I then filled pint sized mason jars with the gum balls. I designed a label for each jar with a thank you note and trimmed them with some bubble gum pink ribbon. Earlier this year I purchased stamps for each of the kids teachers. I placed those in snack sized zip lock bags and tucked one end of the baggie into the top of the jar before placing on the top. I am a huge fan of the plastic reusable mason jar tops, especially since they don't rust.

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.
The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"

I love this idea!! Great job!
ReplyDeleteSuper cute! I ordered personlized labels for our kids' teachers that you can customize with a marker. So it has their names and then they can write in what they're labeling. But we might have to "borrow" this idea for next year.
ReplyDeleteWhere did you get the stamps?
Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThe labels are my own design. If you'd like me to print some for you each personalized label is $2.50. Please provide your child's name as you'd like it to appear on the label and if the label is for a teacher, bus driver, etc. Please send payment and a self addressed stamped envelope to Katie Berry 25 Dominique Drive Bridgewater, MA 02324.
The stamps are from a daily special at: http://pickyourplum.com/
