My New Favorite Movie

Keith signed us up for Net Flicks this week. We were pleasantly surprised to find some new L.D.S. movies.

If you ever feel like you have the weight of the world on your shoulders, or if you just can't handle anther day of trials then you should watch the movie Emma Smith: My Story. This movie touched me so much. To think of the trials she faced in leaving her mother and father, loosing so many children, having her husband falsely accused and then killed while keeping her faith so strong is almost incomprehensible.

It makes me want to learn more about Emma and just how she was able to bear so much burden. Her strength, strengthens me to do better in the face of adversity and trials. I only pray that I can endure as she did and serve selflessly as she did.

This movie also does a nice job of summarizing the early history of the restoration of the church and teaches some of the basic gospel principles of the L.D.S. church.

P.S. If you watch this movie you'll need a few tissues as you feel the pain and agony Emma felt.

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.

The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
