Today we visited The Stone Zoo in Stoneham, MA. It was a hot day and most of the animals were lying around or sleeping. The birds were the most active. The kids spent the longest time watching the flamingos. The flamingos were sitting on their nests or playing with their babies. The other animal the was quite active was the black bear. The bear was eating from a bowl tied to a rope, which made it more like play than lunch time. After seeing half of the zoo it was time to head home. Maybe next time we can see the rest of the zoo and catch up with the flamingo babies.
