Our elementary school has a nice tradition of taking the kindergarten classes to the
Roger Williams Park Zoo in Rhode Island. We have wonderful memories of taking Kaitlyn and Alyssa with their classes and today we created new memories with Brian. Making this trip extra special was the ability to spend the day with Lauren and Lindsay Laws.
(Lindsay and Brian have been smitten with each other since before they could talk. Lauren I teased them that we would be using these pictures for their wedding slideshow. Funny thing is, the two don't mind our joking and even openly discuss wedding plans.) The two animals they said we could not miss are the Giraffes and the Wild Dog. Luckily we were able to see these and many more animals we would never get the chance to see outside of a zoo. We also got to see our friend Cara's oldest, Faith with her class and heard our friend Amanda was there with her boyfriend. It was a perfect day at the zoo. We ended the adventure with a visit to one of our favorite ice cream stops at
Hanson Farms in Bridgewater.
