Father's Day - Stuffed French Bread Pizza

Keith asked for French Bread Pizza for his Father's Day dinner.  Here's what we made.



Keith's Stuffed French Bread Pizza

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 loaf French or Italian bread
  • 1 jar pasta sauce
  • 2 cup mozzarella cheese
  • 2 cups pepper jack cheese
  • 2 plum tomatoes sliced
  • 1/4 cup peppercini or banana hot peppers
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon, chopped

DIRECTIONS

Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Line a cookie sheet with aluminum foil and spray with non-stick spray.  Cut loaf of bread in half vertically and horizontally.
Top bread with sauce.  Then add all remaining toppings, leaving cheese for last.
Place in oven for 30 minutes or until cheese is browned and melted.
