Arlington National Cemetery & Family Portraits at the Washington Temple

This morning we visited Arlington National Cemetery. What an wonderful experience, although the kids didn't quite get it. We were able to witness the changing of the guard at The Tomb of The Unknown Solider.

To round out our family portrait hallway of each of the seasons we tagged along with the Smith family to Washington D.C. I had hoped to visit during the Cherry Blossom Festival and have our portraits done with all of the pink blossoms. Unfortunately the weather this year has been unusually warm so the trees blossomed two weeks early.
Luckily the temple had some beautiful flowering trees, making our new family portrait even more special. I was sealed to my parents at this temple and my father was working at the temple, getting it ready for the open house when my mom went into labor with me.

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.

The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
