Finally Brian!

This is all about pee and poops, so you don't have to read it if you don't want. . .

After many many months of patiently trying to convince Brian to use the potty, he's finally starting to come around. He's pee-peed a couple of times and we've been so proud of him. Today while Katie was out we were playing Wii and he started holding his front and said he had to pee. I rushed him into the potty and we went right away, but then said he had to go poops. Well, . . . it took over an hour of him getting board and jumping off, then holding his bum and saying he had to go and rush him back on. He demanded that I coach him through it and not leave him. He made it as intense and I was more involved than his actual birth. He wanted to hold my hands and had his forehead touching mine. I was massaging his stomach saying "push". Come on! This was exactly like childbirth!! Weird. Finally, he did what he had to do and I instantly called Katie and we both congratulated him.

Best of all, when we were done he went into his room and said "No more pull-up. I'm a big boy now and wear underpants." I'm so proud of him. Took long enough though.

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.

The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
