A Bit of Catch Up

In an effort to catch everyone up on the Berry's here a bit of catch-up since we last posted (in no particular order).
  • Brian had his tonsils and adnoids out. This has helpped him so much. He went from snoring like a truck driver (not that I've ever heard one snore) to sleeping peacefully. He now has a ton of energy and his speech has improved dramatically.
  • Brian also began speech therapy with Ms. Pike. He loves her so much and has progressed so much is a short amount of time.
  • Kaitlyn is working on losing tooth number three. This one is barely hanging on by a thread and everyday we say today is the day it will fall out and then it's still there the next morning. She can't wait to put this one under her pillow. The other two never made it there. The first one she insisted on keeping and the second she either swallowed or lost in the sink while brushing.
  • Alyssa got five stitches in her chin after doing a face plant off the couch in the fish-room. She was very brave and only cried when they applied the Novocaine.
  • I finally got a haircut after 6 months. Gina Paulino did my hair. I am not quite sure why it has taken me so long to go into her salon. She did an amazing job!
  • Keith got an actual backdrop system for the studio and more lighting. What a difference. The next step is to get hardwood floors in the room.
  • Thanksgiving at Aunt Patty's house was great. It was nice to see everyone and we even got a family picture done.
  • Aunt Theresa passed away in November. She will always be remembered as a sweet woman. I still have the clock she made for me when I graduated from high school. Its hanging in the girls' room. She would always tell me that I would be an actress one day. Too bad that never came true.
  • Justin and Collin turned one! Already!! I can't believe how fast they are growing. Soon they be talking and walking.
  • Diane found out Collin is allergic to almost everything. The poor kid! I hope they find out how to help him soon.
  • Little Mikey is so dang cute. He's been struggling with a nasty cold for about three weeks now. Hope he gets better soon.
  • I have been having fun over the past year and a half perfecting my cooking skills. Keith even got me a nice set of knives for my birthday. I've been trying to have someone new to dinner every week. I also got some beautiful china from a dear friend. I love it so much, and secretly wish I was June Cleaver. okay not so secretly. I've been saying it for some time now. But what I really need is an Alice. You know the lady from The Brady Bunch? Oh, how my life would be more simple if she were around.
  • Christmas was nice. Keith's godfather, Chris threw a nice party at his new house. We had Rae and Mimi Dot over for Christmas lunch and then went to Rae's in the evening. The kids got more than they asked for or needed this Christmas.
  • We still have Christmas decorations up. It has been so busy at Berryphotos, Keith and I have not had the time to undecorate.
  • When I have some time. I want to cut out paper hearts for my windows. I have paper snowflakes up right now that Keith and I cut out with the kids. It adds such a nice touch, but I think that mother nature thinks that's a sign that we want more snow. I HATE snow. Yes it's pretty to look at but I hate being cold. And I am cold all of the time.
  • Keith and I have been playing scrabble on our iphones. That is until Gordon spilled the beans that I have been getting some "help" from an online program that helps to get the highest scoring word from your tiles.
  • We might be painting the kitchen soon. I have no clue wahat color and I think that's the hang-up.
  • My left hand is going numb as I type this.
  • Keith is yelling at the kids. They disappeared for a while and were really quite. Something about scissors. I don't think I want to know what they did...Alyssa cut the front of Brians shirt right down the middle.
  • Cheryl left for England yesterday and I miss her already. I also wish we were in Europe. Hopefully we can go in 2020!

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.

The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
