Hide & Seek
A few weeks ago the Temple Matron spoke at sacrament meeting. She was talking about raising children and goal setting. She recalled family nights when they would play thier favorite game, hide and go seek in the dark. Every time they would play her husband and 17 children (Yes, 17! She was a foster parent for many years.) could never find her. She would never tell them her secret. The one day when the children were grown and moved out of the house she told her husband her secret. She would hide on top of the fridge. What!?! Her husband being a polic officer was stunned. How did he not think to look up. All of those years he had been looking down, under, behind, and inside, but never up.
This afternoon I played hide and seek with Alyssa and Brian. I hid in my secret spot, which I will never tell ( and its not on top of the fridge), and Brian became upset. He could not find mom and began to cry. In fear of loosing my secret spot I had to wait till he moved to another room of the house and sneak out and then console him.
PS: Why is it that when ever you find the best hiding spot, it is at that very moment that you also need to pee really bad?

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.
The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
