esterday the kids and I picked a ton of blueberries with the Smiths. The kids and I had a blast! And I was thrilled to see Kaitlyn eating them like popcorn (she's my picky eater who likes only a handful of foods).
I didn't want them to go to waste so I made some blueberry syrup and started some blueberry butter. I let the kids think they were helping out by mashing the blueberries.
But that was not productive so I threw them in my food processor.
Here are the finished jars of blueberry syrup. I was able to get 7 pints of syrup.
This year I wanted to use a more vintage label for my canning. Here are the labels I made for the syrup.

I'd love to hear your feedback and comments. I'd also love and suggestions to help me perfect my skills as I develop them. Have a question? I'll try to answer it for you right away.
The only think I ask is that negativity not be posted. You know that old saying your mother probably taught you? "If you don't have something nice to say, then don't say anything at all!"
